Food is the great connector; it brings people together, individuals from across the world join together for hearty meals and enjoy each other’s company over food. As well as the obvious, It nourishes, as you are well aware, we all need our daily intake of food and enjoy eating it.
Food is such a big deal in our lives and in our countries that each nation has a beloved food or dish, often known as its staple food. The wonderful thing about living in these times of convenience is that we can choose to dine in establishments representing different countries and their beloved dishes. In this current day and age, we normally don’t have to travel too far to find an international restaurant.
Grand International Dining
One of my favorite things about being in Thailand is Bangkok teppanyaki. The opportunity to enjoy Japan’s top cuisine in another Asian country really intrigues me, plus I love Japanese food. Stepping into the grand restaurants and immersing yourself in a world of Japanese culture while in a country that is not Japan is amazing. The food is uncanny with vast menus offering all the delights of Japan from the globally known and sampled sushi to teppanyaki and everything in between, the only difference is your spending baht instead of yen securing yourself an amazing deal. Feel the authenticity as you enter and spend your time dining surrounded by the trappings of a high-end classic Jap style eatery which will most definitely leave you wanting to return not only a second time but a third, fourth, and many more times, there is a high chance you will become a regular.
Cultural Experiences in Bangkok
While Japanese food is amazing to eat in Thailand, even better than that is to partake in Thai cuisine, which is ever so popular for great reasons across the globe. There is no better place to enjoy Thai food than in its glorious capital, Bangkok. Bangkok offers cultural experiences for us foreigners from 5-star hotels and great (more often than not spicy) food to tuk-tuks and temples. Staying in hotels in Bangkok, especially luxury hotels, often offers cultural workshops as well as many more great benefits. Some of the experiences on offer really help you dive into the history and culture of the land of smiles like Muay Thai classes for example or Thai massage classes, there are even Arts and Crafts workshops with a focus on silk weaving, amongst other activities. Rules and Regulations
Please be aware of the rules and regulations in place when visiting another country and partaking in an industry there. Provided previously are the guidelines that must be followed in Thailand. I cannot stress enough the utmost importance of remaining within the law and ensuring the safety of yourself and your loved ones.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the earth is too big and life too short not to venture out and try all we can, from food to culture and everything in between.
